Watercolour Paintings

As part of a university project we were asked to capture our surroundings, in any medium and style we liked, I chose watercolour/gouache as I wanted to try something a little bit more experimentative and broaden my creativity. I went out mostly to local parks to capture some reference images as well as just outside my house and asked friends for pet photos to experiment with some living subjects.

I also included a project that I created for a nursery that I worked in, which featured a watercolour letter of each child’s name combined with an image that also began with the same letter. These were really fun to make as well as effective and super colourful, they were a huge hit with the parents and children alike.
